If someone told you injecting bleach in your body will cure COVID-19, would you immediately listen to them without confirmation? I would hope your answer is no.  At a news conference on Thursday, President Trump shocked nearly everyone when he suggested  using powerful cleaning agents, through an injection, as a possible cure for COVID-19 .  He literally suggested we “clean” our bodies with disinfectant to treat the coronavirus. First off, this has to be the wildest thing I have ever heard from a public official. Second, who in their right mind would listen to something like this? This is clearly dangerous and should go without saying. You could die.  According to the New York Times , so many callers in Maryland flooded a health hotline that they had to issue a warning stating “under no circumstances” should any disinfectant be taken to treat the coronavirus. Staying informed during this COVID-19 crisis is crucial and since early February, fake news content surrounding this issue has flooded the internet.  Citizens all over the world are trying to protect their families and tackle the problem while everyone is consistently sharing, reading and reposting information from various media outlets, but what can we believe is true?
