Critique #1: "Do-it-yourself flight-seeing"
This travel weekly article written by Arnie Weissmann gives people an insight into what it would be like to experience flying a plane first hand. Throughout the article, Weissmann explains how flying this aircraft was possible in such a short amount of time with little to no experience. Many people that travel often seem to complain about the hassle of flying, but is it really that much of a difficulty in this generation? The article took a different turn than I expected with the angle Weissmann chose to focus on. The writer starts off the piece referring to the hassle of flying but then proceeds to talk about how over 100 years ago, people would laugh about the things we are complaining now. These first few paragraphs had me confused about what exact angle he was taking. I think his use of research was good in the beginning but it contradicted the focus of the story.
